These are the ones I live and breathe for everyday. These are the ones who take my breath away with the littlest smile. These are the ones who make my life count for something. And for the other family in TN who is also such a huge part of this all - I miss you. Yet I am incredibly grateful for modern technology that keeps us connected. Last night as I was praying my words spoke of how my greatest gift from God is the love my children have for one another. For the love my son-in-laws and daughter-in-laws have for our family, how they've accepted all of us without judgement, how connected we all stay, how they pooled their resources to bring a TN family member home. Being financially challenged has taught me alot of things I would not learn otherwise; accepting everyones generous gifts at Christmas when all I had to give was the time I put into making homemade treat boxes, offering sincere thanks to neighbors when they delivered gifts, and letting each be partakers of the happiness of giving while I longed to give more than a cookie or a thanks. Truely, this is a Christmas filled with deep gratitude and humility. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
